Hi there...

Well, since I started posting stuff at my Cub Scout blog, I figured I'd post some stuff about the projects that I'm working on.  A little bit of background:

I have 3 kids, so a lot of projects are kid related.  Speaking of kids, mine are involved in:
Scouting
Piano
Band
Chorus
Hockey
Gymnastics

What this means is that some projects take quite a while - most weekends are spent shuttling kids between home and practice/lessons/rehearsals.  Other time is spent working on the general house stuff.  Like laundry, cleaning, cooking, etc.

I build model rockets and model airplanes.  Be warned... some I've been working on for years
I have *very* limited work space for larger projects.  My main workshop is an approximately 9x9 shed.  It is heated though, for the cold WNY winters.  Some larger projects can only be done in the summer.  Most of the rockets that I build also go without paint until spring.

Current projects are:

Model airplane - Craftair Mystique trainer from the 1980's.  Almost ready to cover.
Model rockets - Estes Mega Mosquito (needs sanding and paint), Estes Mosquito (needs paint)
Woodworking - Loft bed for the boy.  Currently most of the wood has been cut, about 1/2 has been sealed.  Let me tell you  - it's tough to find a decent 2x2x8 in Western NY.
